Welcome to this 2-minute sales tip with Tim

I’m headed to the airport in just a few minutes, but wanted to share a quick video with you before leaving for Boston.

My schedule prevents me from offering very many “public” sales training workshops because 95% of the time I’m facilitating programs for companies (like HP, Cisco, Rain Bird, Dow Chemical, Philips, Toshiba) that hire me for an exclusive event for their internal sales teams.

So when I announce a public workshop it generates a lot of interest… but it also creates a lot of questions since I typically only host these programs once a year.

In today’s 2 minute tip I’m going to give you a sneak peek into what reps report as the 3 most frustrating sales challenges they face today – and share some insights that I’ll be teaching during the upcoming program.

#1. According to RingLead – 80% of sales phone calls go to voicemail, and 90% of first time voicemails are never returned
Have you ever listened to one of your voicemail messages? Would you call yourself back?
What mediums other than voicemail are you using to grab your prospects attention?

#2. Forrester Research surveyed more than 400 US-based Executive Buyers and discovered that only 19% believe that meetings with salespeople are valuable and live up to their expectations.

Do your customer think time spent with you is valuable? How many of your customers would be willing to pay for a sales call with you?

What are you doing to plan and prepare for each and every customer meeting? And how can you get your customer more involved before the meeting so they are actually engaged during the meeting.

#3. A Sales Board report highlights that 95% of buyers believe the salespeople they deal with talk too much and that 86% of reps ask ineffective, self-serving questions.

So if you find yourself asking the same old mind numbing questions (like “what keeps you up at night”) then this program might be for you.

Click the link below to learn more and register now while there is still space available – I look forward to spending some one-on-one time with you next month.

My name is Tim Wackel… thanks for watching.
